Review: Frozen

When you talk about great Disney films. You go back to its beginning in 1937 to Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, then in the 40's, 50's and the renaissance period in the early 90's.
After that, Disney's features were either decent or just not having the Disney magic we know and love.

Thankfully, the arrival of Pixar has saved Disney for the last 20 years. But lately, Walt Disney Studios has slowly come back to form. With surprise hits such as Bolt, The Princess And The Frog, Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph has got Disney back in the game. This new 'fairy-tale with a twist' motive works the more times Disney release another hit.

With those successes, Disney has found the classic they have been waiting for since The Lion King in 1994. It can easily push its weight around with the best of Disney and even some of Pixar's classics.

Everything you get from the Disney classics is within this moving story that has family at its centre, which is perfect for today's movie-goers. It has great comedy that appeals to both young and old, lots of fast-paced action with the right amount of peril to give this film a big beating heart.

Lots of positives. The animation and visuals is gorgeous to look at and the story helps that. The look of the characters is getting better and better within the animation genre. What I enjoyed the most were the voices of leads Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel who blew me away with the song they sung and I can see them winning a lot of major awards for Best Song.
Only one negative for me. The all-time best Disney films has a dark side to it, this one for me did not have it. So today's Walt Disney Studios team for me still have not reached the peak of their powers just yet. If I am right, then the next installment could be something quite special.

Overall, I am immensely happy that Disney has found its magic again. It has everything you want from it. The fairy tale with a twist story is wonderfully made. The style of humor is great for all ages, and the story will keep everyone engaged and suck you in. Unlike a lot of Disney films from the last 20 years, this one will never be forgotten. There are so many memorable songs, characters and set-pieces that will make this the latest modern Disney classic.
